Meet Mindy

Mindy is my sister. My big sister. My only sister.

We fought all through our teenage years and beyond. Not sure why. It was rather stupid and quite a waste of time. Drove my parents crazy. At the end of the day, she's my blood, and I will always love her a have her back.

Mindy is beyond talented in everything that she does. I never saw her study in high school, and she aced everything. She scored 57 points in one high school, girls basketball game and scored over 1,000 points her basketball career which in the '80s was a huge feet. She made her own prom gown for crying out loud. (without a pattern) She made a beautiful needlepoint that I still cherish in my home. She ran a marathon. She gardens like a master gardener, and she can rent any piece of machinery and run it in one day like she's owned it for years. She's a chemistry & physics teacher (and was my personal high school chemistry tutor), wife, mother, and super grandmother to two very lucky little girls. I really don't know what she can't do. That should be the question. It would be a very short list.

I'm not sure if Mindy feels bad for me or what because she's been my biggest client to date. She could be an artist in her sleep, but she bought out my inventory in wooden stars my first year in business. I'll never forget that. She will never know how much that meant to me unless she reads this blog. LOL.

I hope she does.
